Luxor - 2008

There were many names that were given to Luxor in its history, the most famous of which is the City of the Hundred Gates; the City of the Sun; the City of Light; and the City of the Scepter; and the Arabs called it this name: Luxor, plural of palace, with the beginning of the Islamic conquest of Egypt.

Bahrain - 2024

Bahrain’s history starts with the Dilmun civilization, which was established around 2500 BCE. This culture was a trading hub between Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley for copper, precious stones and pearls. The area was often referred to in Sumerian texts as the “land of the living,” likely due to the freshwater springs located therein.

Riyadh Road Trip - 24 July 2026

Loop south of Riyadh, out toward the Ibex Reserve. The route ran southwest across open desert past Al Quway'iyah, then curved along the edge of the Ibex Reserve near Howtat Bani Tamim before climbing back north through Sadus and Thadiq to close the loop, finishing with dinner at Al Mizaj Al Shami Restaurant. Wide desert plains, a protected wildlife reserve, and small Najd towns along the way.

Riyadh Road Trip - 17 July 2026

A day loop north of Riyadh through Najd's back roads. Starting from Al Muzahmiyya, the route swung through Dhurma and Huraymila, with a coffee stop at Way Coffee before climbing toward Thadiq and the walls of Ushaiqer, one of the oldest mudbrick villages in the region. The turnaround point was Jebel Kmeit park, a green break in the desert with sweeping views, before the road dropped back south past Hautat Sudair and Al Majma'ah on the return leg.
