Melbourne Walks
Who says you need to leave the city to get into nature? There are plenty of gorgeous places to stretch your legs in Melbourne itself, no car trip needed.
Dights Falls
The Dights Fall Loop Walk highlights the rich history and versatile landscape of Yarra Bend Park. Discover a former lunatic asylum, the River Red Gum dominated landscape of Galatea Point, the former Deep Rock Swimming Club, and heritage-listed Kane’s Bridge.
This is a historical trail that follows the old stock route with timber structures and bluestone pavings and leads to Stockmans Bridge/Angliss Stock Crossing Bridge over the Maribyrnong River that was built in 1894 and rebuilt in 1941 to enable stock transport over the river from the salesyards and meatworks.
